Accessibility

This site should work for everyone. Here is what we have done, what we are aiming for and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Codeflex wants everyone to be able to use this site, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they rely on.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We test new pages against that standard before they are published and fix problems when we find them.

What we have done

  • Structure. Pages use clear headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can move through them in order.
  • Keyboard. Every link, button and menu works from the keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link at the top of each page.
  • Motion. Animated backgrounds, counting numbers and heading effects are decorative. They switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Text and contrast. Text is set in light colors on a dark background with strong contrast, and it resizes with your browser settings.
  • Images and icons. Logos have text descriptions and icon links carry labels that say where they go.
  • Phones. Layouts adapt to small screens without sideways scrolling.

Known limits

Websites and services we link to, such as X and Telegram, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard. If an animation is distracting, turning on the reduced motion setting in your device will stop it on this site.

Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, please tell us what page you were on and what happened. Message @codeflex on X or post in the Codeflex Telegram. We read every report and aim to reply within a few days.
